Emidio Luisi managed to record this depth initiating a dialogue between Butoh and photography since the first time Kazuo and Yoshito Ohno performed in Brazil, in 1986. In front of the show or at the backstages, Luisi reached for the human contidion in the artists' faces. Capturing gestures and silences, the images present in this work reveal the poetic complicity of the conversation between these two forms of art.
